The Space to Dream Exhibition featuring the top-rated designs submitted by SA students who completed the Commissioner’s Digital Challenge in 2021 is travelling across South Australia after a highly successful installation at the Space Discovery Centre at Lot 14 throughout the summer months.  An estimated 2,438 visitors viewed the 21 top-rated designs selected from more than 2,180 entries received from South Australian students via their school Challenge Coordinators.

The 21 top-rated entries in the 2021 Space to Dream Challenge were on display at the Australian Space Discovery Centre throughout Summer and is now travelling to local libraries throughout SA.

Space to Dream is a digital challenge developed for students in South Australia to develop their ‘design thinking’ skills. The Challenge involves designing a toy or gadget for someone their age who is moving to Mars. The ‘New and Improved Fix Bot’ entered by Jimmy from Hawker Area School won the grand prize for his school – a 3D Printer donated by Challenge Partners, Makers Empire.
