Research studies over many years have shown the emotional, mental, and physical impacts of bullying on children and young people who are bullied.
Children and young people have told the Commissioner that many things need to happen to address bullying – both prevention and intervention.
This submission brings together all the reports, submissions, guidance papers and other materials that were produced by the inaugural Commissioner, Helen Connolly, and what has occurred in South Australia since the publication of her 2018 report: The Bullying Project.
It is hoped that this submission assists in developing a consistent national standard for responding to bullying and its underlying causes.
