The Commissioner works to give South Australian children and young people a voice and to ensure their views are given due weight according to their age and maturity.
This Annual Report was prepared for presentation to Parliament as per the requirements of the statutory reporting of the Children and Young People (Oversight and Advocacy Bodies) Act 2016 (OAB Act).
It is divided into three distinct sections: Systemic Reporting, Project Reporting and Statutory Reporting.
The Systemic Reporting section provides an overview of the achievements of the Commissioner’s 2018–2022 Front and Centre strategic agenda. It includes a review of the progress on recommendations made in my previous annual reports.
The Project Reporting and Statutory Reporting sections outline the key projects, activities, and achievements of the Commissioner’s office during the reporting period.
