On Friday 21 March, 120 (0f 150) young South Australians from Years 10, 11 & 12 who have been selected to be members of this year's statewide SRC gathered together for the 2025 SA SRC Summit. They are the new cohort of young people who will be taking their advocacy agenda to those decision makers across our communities who have the capacity to bring about the changes they wish to see. They spent the day together discussing, learning and exchanging information about themselves and their ideas on a range of issues that matter to them. They will spend the next twelve months working on five campaigns as they learn advocacy skills, campaign strategy and media skills as well as opportunities to meet with government representatives, Members of Parliament, State Ministers and community leaders with whom to communicate their ideas for change. Approximately 130 young people in years 10, 11 & 12 from around the state gathered together at the Adelaide Festival Centre on Friday 21 March to meet for the first time. They will embark on a yearlong advocacy program that will teach them how to build a campaign for change. They'll learn how to interact with local and state representatives to bring about the changes they wish to see across their communities.
