On Friday 21 March, 120 (0f 150) young South Australians from Years 10, 11 & 12 who have been selected to be members of this year's statewide SRC gathered together for the 2025 SA SRC Summit. They are the new cohort of young people who will be taking their advocacy agenda to those decision makers across our communities who have the capacity to bring about the changes they wish to see. They spent the day together discussing, learning and exchanging information about themselves and their ideas on a range of issues that matter to them. They will spend the next twelve months working on five campaigns as they learn advocacy skills, campaign strategy and media skills as well as opportunities to meet with government representatives, Members of Parliament, State Ministers and community leaders with whom to communicate their ideas for change. Find out more about the Commissioner's SA SRC initiative - now in it's fourth year - via the link below: https://civicsandcitizenshipsa.com.au/young-people/sa-src/
